Free State Project Empty Re: Free State Project

Here's their website:

http://www.freestateproject.org

Group of libertarians all moving to the same state to effect change. The state chosen was New Hampshire, and "porcupines" are slowly moving in. Most of the FSP people like Ron Paul, too.

Next week, I believe, the annual "PorcFest" will take place at Gunstock. Between that and the winter "Liberty Forum," the FSP gathers more libertarians in one spot than any other gathering - including the official Libertarian Party conventions.

Hope that helps.

I think Montana is the real Free State based on how uppity the state government is to Washington. But Idaho is pretty darn self-reliant, too.

I was involved with the Free State Project myself, but opted out after New Hampshire won the final vote.

I believe we need a Free State Project II, focusing only on states west of the Mississippi. Has anyone contacted Jason Sorens with the intent of "franchising" the name to this purpose? I think at this writing he'd approve such a thing.

Two projects have been mentioned before. Another one could start anytime, but I doubt it would be called the same thing.

Boston T. Party has a thing going, or at least he used to. Don't know what the status of it is these days. Free State Wyoming appears to be completely dead. Lat entry in Boston T. Party's site is 2005.

The vast majority of precincts in IDAHO use paper ballots counted by our neighbors. We know who counts our votes. Try it, you'll like it.

Voluntary Association + Mutual Cooperation + 110% Personal Responsibility = 100% Individual Liberty
